About Nonprofit

We rescue good food to feed the 1.5 million adults in London who struggle to afford to eat every day and the 400,000 children at risk of missing their next meal. The food industry in the UK generates nearly 2 million tonnes of good edible surplus food every year that is just going to waste. We collect and receive high-quality and nutritious food from over 170 suppliers like supermarkets, wholesalers, farms, restaurants and delis and then distribute it to over 350 charities, primary schools and holiday programmes in London. The surplus food is now feeding the vulnerable people, homeless, people with mental health issues and those who simply cannot afford it and providing them with fresh fruit and vegetables, baked goods, salads, meat and fish.

Mission Statement

To collect good quality food from suppliers. We check it’s fresh and then deliver it to charities so they can give vulnerable people a healthy meal or snack. Put simply, we’re saving food and changing lives.
