Our Expert Guide will take you on a fun-filled excursion through the stunning seaside towns of Valparaíso and Viña del Mar to discover their intriguing pasts, marvel at breathtaking views, and explore their unique cultural attractions.
Our journey begins in Valparaíso, declared a World Heritage Site in 2003, where we'll find a city made up of more than 42 hills with multi-colored houses looking out onto the sea. One of these houses was once called home by Nobel Prize winner Pablo Neruda. His former home has now been converted into a museum where you can further explore his life and work.
One of Valparaíso's most captivating characteristics is its numerous elevators which date back to last century, as well as the fact that it is the only city in the country with trolley buses used as public transportation. These beautiful historical relics can now be found moving along all the main streets. While in Valparaíso, we'll also visit the city's most famous squares and its large port which welcomes cruise ships from all over the world.
We will then continue our tour as we head to the beautiful city of Viña del Mar, Chile's tourism capital, where we will visit its famous flower clock found at the entrance of the city. Next, we'll take a walk along Peru Avenue while we contemplate the sea and gaze out on the waves crashing on the rocks. Afterwards, we'll explore Quinta Vergara, its palace, and gardens where each year the famous Viña del Mar muisc festival takes place. We will finish off our tour, discovering the city's beautiful beaches and historical casino, which was the first to be built in Chile.
Join us for a unique excursion uncovering the ins and outs of two of Chile's most impressive coastal towns.
